Makoyana is a stunning indoor plant that is perfect for the home due to its hardiness and ability to thrive in low light.  Its slow growth rate means it requires little maintenance. The Calathea Makoyana, or Peacock Plant, is a stunning tropical indoor plant famous for its intricate, feathered leaves. Native to the rainforests of Brazil, it features pale green tops with dark green veins and deep pinkish-maroon undersides. It is part of the prayer plant family, meaning its leaves fold up at night. This plant is popular for its airy look and air-purifying qualities

Your Makoyana should be allowed to almost dry out between waterings.  It can be placed in direct sunlight or you can provide artificial sunlight with our 'LED Plant Light'. Avoid contact with heaters and drafty areas.   Remove dead foliage to promote new growth.

Feed your Makoyana with liquid organic fertiliser as this will boost its growth.
