3 Year old Lavender Star

A small evergreen tree native to Africa and Australia, the Lavender Star Flower gets its name from its beautiful wide star-shaped purple flowers. The flowers are borne along the stem at the end of spring, and occasionally, the rest of the year.

The elegant leaves are shiny and deep green. On occasion, the Lavender Star may produce four-lobed berries. These shiny reddish-purple fruits remain on the tree for long periods. When placed outside in warm weather it is very good at attracting butterflies and birds to the garden.

Your gorgeous and delicate looking Lavender Star should be left outside in full sun to part shade, they can tolerate coming inside for short (2-3 days) periods of time to impress your guests.

Water regularly to avoid the soil from completely drying out. Apply Bonsai Boy's Plant Nourishment fertiliser during the growing season.
