The Japanese silverberry originated in Asia with native regions including China, Japan, Korea and the Himalayas.

Japanese silverberry, also known as Autumn Olive, is a decidious tree that produces small red, silver speckled berries.  The tree has thorny branches and fragrant, pale yellow or white flowers. Its leaves are medium green on top and silvery underneath due to tiny scales,

The Silverberry Bonsai thrives in full sunlight and is known for its hardy nature, making it suitable for bonsai enthusiasts of all experience levels. 

Pay particular attention to the watering of your Silverberry In summer, the soil must always be slightly damp. when the tree produces flowers and fruits, it needs a lot of water and must not dry out.

Your Bonsai left outside in full sun to part shade, they can tolerate coming inside for short (2-3 days) periods of time to impress your guests.

Water regularly to avoid the soil from completely drying out. Apply Bonsai Boy's Plant Nourishment fertiliser during the growing season.
