The Zanzibar Gem  also known as the is a low maintenance, evergreen perennial prized for its architectural dark glossy leaves. It stores water in thick, potato-like rhizomes, making it highly drought-tolerant and suitable for low-light conditions, though it thrives with well-drained soil and occasional watering.

The Zanzibar likes indirect light position and prefer to dry out in between watering making it the perfect low maintenance option for the Terrarium.
