7 Year Old Pyracantha

Pyracantha is a genus of large, thorny evergreen shrubs in the family Rosaceae, with common names firethorn or pyracantha. They are native to an area extending from Southwest Europe east to Southeast Asia. 

The Pyracantha, is a striking and vibrant addition to any bonsai collection. Famous for its bright orange or red berries and lush green foliage, this evergreen species exudes year-round beauty and elegance.

The delicate, white spring flowers give way to clusters of fiery berries in the autumn, making it a captivating focal point in outdoor space.

Pay particular attention to the watering of your Pyracantha In summer, the soil must always be slightly damp. when the tree produces flowers and fruits, it needs a lot of water and must not dry out.

Your Bonsai left outside in full sun to part shade, they can tolerate coming inside for short (2-3 days) periods of time to impress your guests.

Water regularly to avoid the soil from completely drying out. Apply Bonsai Boy's Plant Nourishment fertiliser during the growing season.
